My life journey as an Fashion Designer Artist

Updated: Mar 17

Welcome to my creative haven! As I sit down to pen down my very first blog post, I can't help but marvel at the twists and turns that have shaped my life into the colorful canvas it is today. Join me on a stroll down memory lane as I share a little story of my life journey as a fashion designer and artist, from the early days of sketching cartoons to chasing my dreams of becoming a top fashion designer.

It all began when I was a wide-eyed 7 or 8-year-old, armed with nothing but pencils and an insatiable curiosity for the world of art. Pages transformed into my canvas, and soon, I found myself creating a comic book-like collection of cartoon characters. Little did I know that these humble beginnings would sow the seeds for a lifelong passion that would define my purpose.

One fateful day, while lounging in my dormitory, while I was watching the television, "Project Runway" came on. As the fashion designers showcased their creativity and craftsmanship, a spark ignited within me. That was the moment my dream was born, and I set my sights on not just being an artist but becoming the next top fashion designer.

Daily drawings, paintings and creating became my sanctuary, a routine that breathed life into my existence.

Growing up in the orphanage was no easy feat, navigating the complexities of life without the comforting presence of parents. However, amidst the challenges, my burning passion for art and fashion became the beacon that guided me through the darkest days. I knew I had a calling and a purpose in life.

As the years unfolded, I came to realize the debt of gratitude I owed to the orphanage that shaped my formative years. The social workers, caretakers, volunteers and teachers – each one of them played a pivotal role in my journey. They were more than just mentors; they became the family I never had. I treated them as my own parents, finding solace and support in their unwavering encouragement.

Admittedly, I wasn't always the easiest child to handle. Academic struggles were a constant, with the exception of one shining subject – Art, my true passion. The people around me, however, saw beyond the academic setbacks and recognized the fire within. Together, we persevered. The orphanage became my cocoon of transformation, molding me into the independent and resilient individual I am today.

This blog is more than a recounting of my past; it's a tribute to the individuals who stood by me, from the problematic and unhappy child to the determined artist and fashion enthusiast. It's a celebration of the power of art and the resilience of the human spirit. Join me on this journey as I delve into the intricate tapestry of my life, painting a picture of dreams chased and dreams realized. The adventure has just begun, and I can't wait to share every colorful chapter with you.
